OverviewSituated in the tranquil surroundings of an olive grove, this striking villa has been designed to provide masses of outdoor living space which makes it ideal for a large group or a couple of families looking to holiday together. Palermo, Cefalù and several of Sicily’s leading sights, such as the Greek temple at Segesta and the Norman cathedral at Monreale, are all within easy reach of the villa.

The villa’s structure resembles a traditional Sicilian country house, with an emphasis on outdoor space. Spacious terraces are beautifully furnished with lounge-style seating, hammocks and plenty of shade from the heat of the sun. A wonderful outdoor kitchen completes the picture, with a dining table and chairs, and equipped with a charcoal grill, sink and hob so that much of your meal preparation can take place outdoors. The pool area is stunning, with views to the mountains on one side and to the sea at the other, and the gently graduating steps make it ideal for families with younger children.

Inside, there are more large open spaces, with bold, architectural shapes and designs and eye-catching furniture and accessories. The huge floor to ceiling glass doors that lead from the outside terraces allow cool breezes into the open plan living room, eliminating the need for air conditioning in the main living space. During the warmer months of the year, you'll probably find you spend most of your time on the delightful outdoor terrace or around the pool, while during the cooler months, the fireplace at one end at one end of the room is a welcome addition on chillier evenings. At the far end of the living room is a dining area with views out to the garden and a striking, contemporary kitchen.

The master bedroom is on the ground floor, with sliding doors out to the garden, and a sunken bath perfectly positioned to provide garden views. A separate shower cubicle is available in the en suite bathroom. Upstairs, a large open space provides a spacious sleeping area (recently divided into 2 comfortable independent bedrooms) with two queen size beds, two additional single roll out beds, and a bathroom with shower. There are two more single beds (plus an additional roll out bed) in a third bedroom which has an en suite bathroom with shower. All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

For larger parties, or where one couple is looking for some additional privacy, a separate guest house, just 20m from the main house, is furnished with a double bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower.
